Great victory of Chipolopolo against Cirque du Soleil (4-2) during the finals of the Champions Trophy this Sunday, January 12! Afer several attempts, Chipolopolo gets the holy Grail!
In the Intermediate-recreative league, DG United wins against All Blacks (5-2) and Les Rafales defeat Rockers thanks to the penalty shots (3-2).

Recreative League
The tournament started with the finals of the Recreative League. Oceanwide met Rockers whereas Les Rafales played against 100% Sexy.
Rockers won easily against Oceanwide(5-1)! 100% Sexy did well against Les Rafales, but after a VERY bad assist, Les Rafales scored and the game became almost unidirectional. Final score: 2-0. And Rockers and Les Rafales found themselves once more.
Finals ended by a draw (2-2) as well as during the regular season. The shootout would decide the winner. It is ultimately Les Rafales who prevailed (3-2 TB). Both teams will go at the upper level next season. Congratulations to every teams!

Intermediate-recreative League
And the Intermediate-recreative league already started! Drafted last minute, All Blacks did well and qualified for the finals after a victory against Bayer Neverlosen (5-2). Whereas DG United prevailed easily against Pace Makers (5-3).
But the finals was a one-way game and DG United defeated All Blacks easily 5-2. It is not a surprise that DG United decided to move into the men’s league.

Intermediate League
Les Ptits Bonheurs were impressive when they defeated Les Ptits Joueurs, one of the best team ever of the League. And we thought they might win the Tournament.
But the others teams were very good too. Le Cirque du Soleil was great during Fall, Chipolopolo had a very nice team, and had always been near victory for two years. And team Individuelle was so good for a new team.

But the dream of Individuelle stopped in semi-finals when they were defeated by Chipolopolo (5-2). Yet, the attention was more on the game Le Cirque du Soleil vs Ptits Bonheurs. It was a great and tied game. Le Cirque finally won 3-2.
It looked the finals would be great and we haven’t been disappointed. The game was very tied: ther was 2-2, 5 minutes before the end. At this moment, one player of Le Cirque du Soleil shooted on the post. The ball went out and on the next mouvement, Johnathan scored the 3rd goal for Chipolopolo. The game was over and the fourth goal is an anecdote (4-2).
Chipolopolo won the game 4-2 and becomes champion!
